Zsofia Kollar x Sidney Nislow
At OBJECT 2020 designers Zsofia Kollar and Sidney Nislow present a playground filled with objects from their respective practices. Zsofia’s objects are highly ambiguous and merge reality and imagination. The seemingly everyday and inanimate objects become biomorphic objects that question the politics of human interaction and society at large. Sidney’s practice begins from re-use. The ‘found’ is a starting point. Collecting and collaging seemingly separate elements allows space for new entities and ideas. A + B = C. Or have A, B and C been the same thing all along? In their collaboration, the relationship between elements proposes a new understanding of what their objects can mean.
