Tiwánee van der Horst
Tiwánee van der Horst graduated in 2016 from the faculty of Architecture, TU Delft with an honourable mention. During her graduation she became fascinated by the link between architecture and the visual arts taking a new turn through emerging technologies. She sees the city as a canvas by developing a 3D painting machine. The movements of body, arm and hand give direction to the material in its liquid state, until gravity takes over. Her sculptures embody a play of intuitive interaction between man, machine and material. Through these sculptures she rethinks architectural making.
