Judith Schwendener is a Swiss jewelry designer based in Rotterdam. She stands for being a creator and caretaker at the same time. The tension between these parts create questions about the value of our (jewelry) possessions. With her collection ‘Ornamental Abstractions’ she’s searching for answers through decluttering. It’s all about reusing form and transforming values. Judith prefers to combine precious metal with fragile materials as plaster. She shows us her preference of a poetical outcome and a layered way of working.
